How many years do you need to consistently train to excel at playing an instrument?
How long did it take you to go from non-verbal to being able to read and write, fluently?
How much time did you spend learning a new language?
How many years did you study and how much overtime did you give to be where you are today?
And how much time daily, over how many weeks, months or years do you dedicate to learning your emotions, become fluent in them and excel at managing them?
How much dedication do you give your mental health?
How long have you studied empathy, kindness and healthy relationship formation and communication?
What do you think would happen if you started treating your inner life with the same respect and commitment you do your outer life?
And no, that doesn't refer to the endless hours of dedication to over-analysing or over-thinking as that's the same as trying to read a book in Russian when you only speak English.

Until next time, take care, stay safe - and sane - and make kind choices!
