Sometimes you win and sometimes you learn.
A child doesn't learn to walk and run by simply watching. They try, fall and get back up, a bit wiser to the tricks of short, chubby legs.
A child might mimic you when they form their first words but they have to try for themselves, and will stutter and say things that make the adults laugh, even when not intended, and so they try again.
Imagine if children viewed learning with the same critical 'failure' glasses on as adults do.
We'd be doomed.
