Do you ever feel needy? Have you ever been called needy?
Do you know what's happening when you're being, acting or feeling needy?
You're in need!
You have an unmet need and if either your friends, partner, family or yourself are calling you needy, it's because your friends, partner, family or yourself are failing in hearing you, seeing you, accepting you and truly connecting with you, to hear, see, feel or figure out what your need is and meeting you in it.
Next time you come across this term, pause and reflect and then take action to have your need or someone else's need met, instead of charging ahead with judgement and dismissel.
This goes for "emotional", "sensitive" and "attention seeking" as well.
Humans have a funny tendency to have feelings that are there for a reason and serve a function. So stop downplaying them with condescending words and pay attention from a place of love instead.
Until next time, stay safe - and sane - and be kind, to yourself and others.
After all, you're a fucking amazing!
