Aristotle believed humans were driven by happiness. And every action, from eating to helping others, were to achieve happiness.
And thus, even when people do bad things or mistreat others, it's because it makes them happy.
Using his logic, that would mean that whatever happens - even towards you - it's not about you.
If you feel the brunt of someone's actions or words, it's about their need for happiness.
No one can argue with certainty whether Aristotle was right or wrong but if you choose to believe his observations, what would happen to your assumptions and worldview?
