It's important to be resilient. To be able to face hardship and bounce back. To be with pain while knowing thing will get better again. The strength to survive.
I pray that one day there'll be less focus on resilience.
I hope that one day there'll be so much less suffering that we don't have to praise people for their strength.
I dream of a future full of softness and support, full of ease and kindness, full of love and connection so that I will no longer need to acknowledge someone's resilience for the many hits they've taken while showing up to face more.
I long for a time where I may not know how strong a friend is because they haven't had to prove this as life has been so good.
I wish this for you and I wish that for me.
