Most people are patient with, forgiven of and nice to children and yet, many of us are impatient, unforgiven and unkind towards our own inner child and the childlike mannerisms of others.
If an adult has a 'tantrum' or are 'attention seeking' it's because they're expressing an unmet need that has probably been left unmet since childhood.
What would happen if we cared for that inner child and the inner child of others, instead of copying the behaviour of the scolding, cold, uncaring or emotionally unavailable adult that created that unresolved problem to begin with?
